FOOTBALL fans have been warned to be on their guard against malicious Euro 2004-related emails.

Security experts fear fans will tricked by viruses posing as Euro 2004 screensavers, games or video files.

It is thought virus creators will be using the tournament to target fans.

Internet users are urged to take extra care when opening emails to avoid opening infected attachments.

This includes not opening any unsolicited emails, not clicking on attachments you are not sure about and not clicking on any website links included in emails.

By taking these steps, it will hopefully only be Zinedine Zidane who brings misery to England football fans.
