A NUMBER of schools in Harrow have closed today due to snowfall across the borough last night.

Little Stanmore Nursery, First and Middle School, Bentley Wood High School, Pinner Wood School, Alexandra School, and Whitmore High School are all known to have closed this morning due to the weather conditions.

Some schools have already finished for the festive holidays, but other schools have stayed open despite the frosty conditions.

Hatch End High, Harrow High, and Nower Hill are all open as usual for their final school day of the winter term.

It is being advised that parents contact their school directly to find out whether closures are in place, or go to the council's website for more information.
