A PENSIONER who died when she was hit by a Ferrari in Park Royal has been named by police.

Jennifer England, 72, of Wulfstan Street, East Acton, was walking along Chase Road at around 11am when she was hit by the blue sports car on Friday, January 18.

Yesterday, a post mortem revealed she had died as a result of multiple injuries.

Her death, on a road which leads directly to North Acton Road, where grandmother Rose Cleary was killed in November, exactly three weeks after five-year-old Rachel Papoola was left in a coma by a hit-and-run van driver, has prompted fresh calls for traffic calming to be installed in the area.

Police have asked anyone who saw the collision to call Alperton Traffic Garage on 0208 998 5319.
