Four people arrested after police dawn raids targeting drug dealers have been charged.

Yesterday morning Hertfordshire Police stormed properties in Harrow, Borehamwood, Watford and St Albans as part of Operation Pagoda.

Those arrested include Brezar Culaj, 29, of Chenduit Way, in Stanmore, who was charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs between 2010 and 2013.

Genghiz Ibadula, 42, of Toorack Road, Claudiu Surluceanu, 25, of Enderby Road, and Grigore Scripcaru, 30, of Montrose Road, in Harrow, were all charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs between January 2013 and the May 2013.

All four are due to appear at before St Albans Magistrates Court today and in total ten people were charged with drug offences as part of the operation.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil Ballard from Hertfordshire police said,: “More than 160 officers were involved, which puts into perspective the sheer scale of the operation.

“The drugs line we have aimed to dismantle is believed to be one of the most organised and prolific in drugs supply in Western Hertfordshire.

“I want to send a clear message that we will target anyone suspected of being involved in drug dealing no matter how large or small the operation is.”
