Katy Perry has admitted she has to use buckets instead of toilets backstage on tour - because she gets so busy.

The singer, 27, said she also feels sick before she goes on stage to perform for her fans.

The Sun quoted the star as saying: "You walk on stage feeling like Mary Poppins but really you've just had your skin zipped, peed in a bucket and been dry-heaving over the trash can."

Russell Brand's ex finished her California Dreams Tour in January.

The star finalised her divorce from Russell Brand last month.

Since her split with the British funnyman, she has been linked to Florence + The Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd, model Baptiste Giabiconi and singer John Mayer, who previously dated Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson.
