Anthony Joshua's heavyweight bout with Oleksandr Usyk will be held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, according to reports.

Following the collapse of Joshua's much-anticipated match up with Tyson Fury, the Watford boxer has held talks with the WBO mandatory challenger instead.

The proposed undisputed world title fight against Fury fell through, prompting the WBO to order the unified champion to fulfil a defence against Usyk.

It is expected that a fight will be arranged for September this year and Sky Sports have reported that the Spurs stadium is the preferred venue.

The 62,000 seater arena was supposed to be the venue for Joshua's fight with Kubrat Pulev last year but it was moved to Wembley arena due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Last week, Usyk's promoter Alexander Krassyuk told Sky Sports that the fight was simply waiting on a decision from Joshua before it could be announced.

"We are waiting for King AJ's decision whether he is brave enough to get dethroned," he said.
