Police have today released CCTV images after a wallet was stolen from a Mercedes in Watford.
Between around 5am and 6am on Tuesday, February 9, a wallet was stolen from a black Mercedes C63 in Newhouse Crescent.
At around 8am, the thieves twice attempted to use bank cards from the wallet in Costsaver, Horseshoe Lane. The attempts were declined, along with a further attempt at an online transaction.
PC David Hartlett, who is investigating, said: “We believe that the men pictured were in Costsaver and they could have vital information that will help our investigation. Do you recognise them? Please get in touch if that’s the case.
“I’m also keen to hear from anyone else who thinks they have information about the incident."
