Radio 1 presenter Chris Stark has become a dad to a baby boy.

The 33-year-old DJ from Watford announced his wife Ria had given birth to a baby boy. The new dad joked that they had named their son Troy Ian Bango Stark and said the real name will be revealed soon.

Chris, who is also a Watford FC fan, shared the news during yesterday's breakfast show, saying he "couldn't be happier and prouder" about their bundle of joy.

He also praised NHS staff and the midwife who helped deliver their child.

In an emotional phone call, Chris said: "I’m so happy and I’m so proud and I’m just so pleased. Our little baby boy was born and it’s just like… it’s just mad. It’s the best.
