The boy, 11, was last seen today just before 4.30pm at his home in Abbots Langley

Hertfordshire Constabulary announced at 6.25pm that he was found.

He was believed to be on foot and police said they were growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Many people on social media questioned why a helicopter was hovering around the Abbots Langley and Garston area.

Shortly after the appeal was released, the boy was found.
