Police shut a road for several hours yesterday evening after a motorcyclist crashed into a lamppost.
Hertfordshire Constabulary sealed off Gosforth Lane, South Oxhey, on Monday, June 1 after being called to reports of a collision at around 5.15pm.
It was reported that a motorcycle had collided with a lamppost.
Police say the rider suffered a leg injury and was taken to hospital, but his injury was not deemed life-changing.
Motorists were not able to access Gosforth Road while police dealt with the incident, with one resident reporting that the road was shut for up to four hours and that several police cars were at the scene.
Police say the road closures were lifted just after 10pm.
Enquiries into the collision are on-going.
