Heavy rain from Storm Dennis led to a river breaking its bank, submerging a park's footpaths in water.
Met Office issued a yellow warning for wind last Saturday and Sunday (February 15-16). The storm came a week after Storm Ciara caused havoc across the UK.
Although Watford largely escaped the worst effects of the storm, persistent rain from both storms caused the River Gade in Cassiobury Park to overflow in several places.
Photos taken by a park visitor over the weekend show a footbridge and footpath, which runs between the river and the Grand Union Canal, submerged in murky water.
And amid the flooding chaos, a small group of three ducks (including two Mandarin ducks) appeared to be enjoying a temporary expansion of their watery realm.

The park was not the only site to be affected by the storm. The former police site in Rickmansworth was hit by the strong winds.
The gusts caused a panel by Edbury Underpass to break and hang over to one side over a railing.
At Grove Mill, the wind also caused a tree to collapse into the canal.
