Two elderly people were attacked by burglars in their home.

Three men broke into a house in Kiln Way, Northwood, which two elderly occupants - a man aged 77 and a woman aged 71 - were inside on January 21 at 8.43pm.

Metropolitan Police have said the burglars forced the two elderly members into a room and repeatedly threatened and attacked them.

One item of jewellery was stolen.

Neither of the victims suffered any serious injuries and no arrests have yet been made.

Detective Constable Stephen Rothwell, West Area Burglary and Robbery Team, said: “This is a shocking incident, where two elderly occupants were attacked in their home.

“We urge anyone who may have witnessed the offenders arriving or leaving or anyone who is responsible, to come forward.

“We would also welcome any CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist with our investigation.”
