Well. you can learn the fast way as the first go kart-track in our area is just around the corner.
The start line isn't in sight just yet with the track not ready to go until April - but it's certainly time to get excited about the new go-kart centre on Greatham Road Industrial Estate in Bushey.
The £1.35m development by TeamSport, the UK's largest indoor karting company, is set to attract people of all ages, including families and thrillseekers. Inside the venue, racers will find a multi-level circuit with thrilling straights, hair raising bends and jaw dropping ramps for up to 16 karters at a time.
And if you fancy a job here, you could be in luck with 25 full-time and part-time roles being created.
Dominic Gaynor, managing director of TeamSport Indoor Karting said: “Myself and the rest of the TeamSport crew are really excited about the launch of this in April 2020. We’re looking forward to working with a thriving community and being able to create some exciting, progressive and flexible new jobs for the area in the process.
"If you enjoy working in a busy, fast paced job, where no two days are the same, then this is definitely the job for you. Our people team will be holding recruitment sessions in Watford from early January to March to recruit a range of management, customer service and mechanic job roles."
