One of the joys of Christmas is seeing neighbourhoods light up as families prepare for the festive season.
With just two days to go until the big day, Christmas lovers will be double-checking their lights and tinsels are in place.
To get into the spirit of Christmas we asked Watford Observer readers over the weekend to send in photos of their elaborately decorated homes.
We welcomed photos of interior or exterior decorations and we are amazed by some of the bright and colourful displays.
We have picked out some of the best photos and shared them below:
Gary Carter's garden in South Oxhey is filled with fun Christmas inflatables, including a giant penguin and reindeer.

This is David Harper's home in Watford. The 45-year-old takes pride in his festive wreaths and garlands - which light up in the dark. He has also shared with us a picture of his Christmas tree, festooned with the colours of red and gold.
