A leisure centre sports hall has been transformed into a media frenzy zone for the NATO summit tomorrow.

Hundreds if not thousands of journalists and photographers will pass through tight security at Watford Central Leisure Centre tomorrow.

The sports hall has been temporarily converted into a ‘Media Accreditation Office’ for members of the press to receive NATO credentials for the event and to transport attendees on a shuttle bus to The Grove.

The leisure centre has been closed off with airport-style security to ensure that only accredited media members can have access to The Grove today (December 3), and when Donald Trump and other world leaders attend The Grove on Wednesday (December 4).

Outside the centre in the afternoon on December 3, three Metropolitan Police vehicles were parked as officers inside helped with the security process.

A section of the car park has also been fenced off to hold the shuttle buses as they wait to escort media press to the main media centre.

Shuttle services to the media centre will be running around every 15 minutes.
