Parkfield and Headstone lost by 52 runs to Bushey in Hertfordshire Division Five on Saturday.

Vasi Shaikh claimed three for 33 in eight overs for Parkfield as Bushey managed 194 for eight from their innings.

In reply, Ian Schmid was his usual consistent self as he struck 49 for Headstone. Chetan Modi also added 31 but the middle and lower order failed to make an impression as Parkfield were dismissed for 142.

But the Seconds strolled to a nine-wicket win over Rickmansworth Thirds in Division Nine.

Nainesh Shah claimed four for 20 as Parkfield restricted Ricky to 133. Nalinda Premachandra was on 63 not out as Parkfield cruised to the victory.

In Division 12, the Thirds had to settle for a draw with Monken Hadley Seconds.

The scratch Sunday team beat Met Police Bushey in the Hertfordshire County Trophy.

Wasim Saber anchored the innings with a knock of 66 in their total of 180 for nine. Craig Rivers took four wickets and Saber chipped in with three as Bushey were bowled out for 110.

Parkfield's reward is a tie against Botany Bay next month.
