Isaac Success is determined to fight for his place in the Watford team next season, amid reports of a potential departure.

The Nigerian has been buoyed by his increased involvement in the squad towards the end of last season and feels he has shown Xisco Munoz enough to be in with a chance of playing more once the Premier League starts in August.

After making a return from injury in March, the striker went on to make 10 appearances in total, rounding off the campaign with a stunning strike against Swansea on the final day.

The Hornets are known to be looking to bring more attacking options in and reports in the Athletic this week claim the striker could be sent out either on loan or sold as part of summer reshaping.

While that may end up happening, the Watford Observer understands that the striker is not interested in moving away and his preference is to stick around at Vicarage Road and challenge for a place in the squad.

That decision could be taken out of his hands, but other dominoes will have to fall first before that point is reached.

The 25-year-old has two seasons remaining on his current contract.

Elsewhere, pictures of Gerard Deulofeu enjoying a drink with Kiko Femenia have further fuelled speculation that the winger could be returning to Vicarage Road this summer.

However, sources close to the player have ruled that move out.

Femenia is however expected to stay, despite continued interest from Spain, Turkey and Russia.
