Watford are moving closer to the signing of Nantes midfielder Imran Louza, the Watford Observer understands.
The player, who is rated around the £10million mark, is set to join after impressing over two seasons in Ligue 1.
Last season, the 22-year-old scored seven goals in 33 league matches, adding to the two he scored in the previous campaign.
Internationally, he has represented both Morocco and France at youth level, most recently turning out for the French Under 21s, for whom he made six appearances.
Reports suggest that he will be arriving for a fee slightly less than the £10m listed on Transfermarkt and it is expected he will sign a long-term deal at Vicarage Road.
