Watford have announced the signing of Grimsby Town defender Mattie Pollock.
Last night it was revealed that the 19-year-old would be joining on a five-year-deal, worth an initial fee of around £100,000.
Pollock has been with the Mariners since February 2019 and scored three goals for them last season out of 25 appearances.
Despite his young age, he has already made 58 senior appearances in all competitions.
It is understood that he is not a player who will be used in the first team immediately and could spend the next season, or possibly even two, out on loan.
He is the son of former Middlesbrough midfielder Jamie Pollock.
