World bantamweight champion Shannon Courtenay has said she wants to be the first boxer to fight at Watford's Vicarage Road.
The champ, who comes from Abbots Langley, is expected to announce the first defence of her world title very soon, as she looks to take the next step in her career.
She claimed the belt with a unanimous decision victory over Ebanie Bridges at the beginning of last month, after which she told the Watford Observer unification was now her aim.
While her next fight is expected to be at a more conventional venue, the 'babyface assassin' has her eyes on a fight at the Vic in the future.
Answering questions from her fans on Instagram, she said that competing at Vicarage Road would top fighting at even Wembley Stadium or Vegas.
Asked about her dream venue, she responded: "Would love to fight in Vegas & Wembley but the dream is to be the first person to fight at Vicarage Road the Watford Stadium".
