Ismaila Sarr is preparing for another battle when Watford face Middlesbrough tomorrow afternoon.

The Hornets strengthened their grip on second place and moved a step closer to Premier League promotion on Friday when they beat Sheffield Wednesday, while Swansea City and Brentford both failed to find victory.

However, the Senegal winger said he is taking nothing for granted ahead of the last seven matches of the season.

"There are no easy games in the Championship, especially at this stage, every match becomes like final," said Sarr.

"So what we have to do is to go there and try to keep doing our best and win the game.

Harrow Times:

"If you ask me if I expect tough game, yes, because there are no easy games, especially now at the end."

While some at Watford are eyeing the decreasing gap between themselves and league leaders Norwich with excitement, Sarr insists he and the players are just focused on returning to the top flight.

The 23-year-old believes winning the league is not hugely important.

"The main goal is to keep gaining points and to go to the Premier League and whether we win the league or not, that's not important," he said.

"We have to keep working to improve, to get better and better, get more points and go up. First place is not an obsession."
