Watford defender Ben Wilmot has been named in the England Under 21 starting XI for their game against Croatia this evening.

Wilmot last featured for the Under 21s in a 5-0 win over Albania in a UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying game in November last year.

He also scored in the same competition against Andorra three days before that.

Tonight's appearance will be his third competitive game for the Under 21s, although he has also featured for them in a friendly against Slovenia in October 2019.

He has also represented his country at Under 20 and Under 19 level.

Wilmot will not be the only Watford player in action this afternoon, with Ken Sema playing for Sweden against Estonia and Daniel Bachmann possibly featuring in Austria's match against Denmark later on tonight.
