Xisco Munoz felt Watford could have done more to kill the game off as they picked up a fourth consecutive win, beating Blackburn Rovers 3-2 away from home.

The Hornets twice had two goal deficits cut in half by the hosts, making the match a great deal more nerve-wracking than it ought to have been.

While the head coach was pleased with his side's continuation of their winning streak particularly away from home, he still felt there were a few missed opportunities that he would like to see his side take going forward.

"It was a good performance," said Munoz. "I think in the first half we have the control of the game, but in the second half it changed a little bit. Also we have the chance in some transitions to try and kill the game.

"We scored three times, and also had our important chances in the second half to close the game and I think we can mature better in the game.

"We want more. I think we can play better, we can have the control in both the first half and the second half. I think our team is ready for to have that control. It's important also to start working on the transitions because we had important chances to close the game."

Defensively Munoz felt his side were guilty of losing concentration and said that it is important for them to remain focused in order to see games out in the future.

"We need everyone to stay more concentrated in defence because sometimes we scored these three goals, after we had the problem in the last minutes.

"When I speak about defence I don't only mean back line, I speak about all the players and I think sometimes, in these moments, we need more balance.

"We need to mature, the team, and be mature in the games, and sometimes close the game."
