Watford remain hopeful of keeping hold of Ismaila Sarr for another transfer window, despite continued interest from Premier League sides.

The club's record signing was the subject of interest from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Crystal Palace during the summer, but none were ready to match the Hornets' evaluation.

Watford's stance on Sarr has not changed and they would not be willing to make a loss on the Senegal international, for whom they paid north of £30million, including add-ons, to begin with.

If a big offer was forthcoming, it would be considered, but no one has come close to offering enough with two weeks of the transfer window gone.

Reports of interest from West Ham United, who are also interested in retaining on loan Watford defender Craig Dawson, are understood to be valid, although no offer has been made yet.

Crystal Palace and Manchester United are also understood to have not relinquished their interest either.

The Hornets' stance may have to change if they fail to gain promotion at the end of this season, but for now the winger is not thought to be actively pushing for a move.

Sarr has scored four goals and provided five assists so far this season.
