Watford are plotting an approach for Serbian manager Vladimir Ivic, according to reports.
The club are looking for a new head coach after sacking Nigel Pearson earlier this month, with a number of names already listed by bookies.
One name book makers have missed out until now is Ivic, who Football Insider are claiming is the man the Hornets have their eyes on.
Ivic recently left Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel where he won back-to-back league titles and lost just eight times from a total of 91 matches.
During an impressive two year spell at Tel Aviv, Ivic won 61 games, racking up a 2.25 points-per-game average.
In that period, his side scored 168 times and conceded just 48.
Watford are in the process of making changes to the club ahead of their first season in the Championship in five years.
They are also in talks with Cristiano Giaretta over a sporting director position.
