It was a long wait - 202 days to be precise since Watford last triumphed in the Premier League at Huddersfield Town - but it finally ended on Friday night as the Hornets beat Norwich City 2-0 to pick up their first three points of the season.
Goals early in each half from Gerard Deulofeu and Andre Gray put the visitors in control, although they had to see out the last quarter of the match with 10 men after Christian Kabasele was dismissed for a second yellow card.
