Andre Marriner will referee his second Watford game of the season when he officiates Friday's visit to Norwich City.
The official was last in charge of a Hornets' match at the start of last month when he oversaw the goalless home fixture against Sheffield United.
Since then, the referee has been involved in some high-scoring ties, with a total of 20 goals scored in the three games following his visit to Vicarage Road.
After seeing Chelsea beat Newcastle 1-0, Marriner was in the middle for Leicester's 9-0 league win away at Southampton before taking charge of the Carabao Cup fixture between Liverpool and Arsenal that ended 5-5 after normal time.
The official only oversaw one game involving the Hornets last season when he officiated the 2-1 home victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
The season before, he also only refereed one Watford match, the 2-0 win over West Ham United.
Marriner will be assisted by Scott Ledger and Simon Long, while Keith Stroud will be fourth official and VAR will be Andy Madley.
