Anthony Taylor will be referee for Watford's home game against Chelsea this weekend, while Mike Dean will be on VAR duties for his second match of the day.

Dean, who refereed the Hornets' home game against Bournemouth this weekend, is set to be video assistant referee for two matches on the same day, as he prepares to first watch over the early kick off between Bournemouth and Manchester United, before switching his focus to Vicarage Road later on.

The game is the second Watford match this season that Taylor has taken charge of, following the 2-2 draw with Arsenal on September 15.

Taylor awarded the Hornets a penalty in that game as they came from two goals down to earn a point.

The official has overseen 14 matches since the start of the season and has issued three red cards so far.

Last season he was in charge for two Watford matches, when he oversaw the 2-1 home win over Crystal Palace and the 2-0 away defeat at Arsenal.

Taylor's assistants for the match are Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, while the fourth official will be David Coote.
