Adalberto Penaranda has left Watford to spend the season on loan with Belgian side KAS Eupen.
The 22-year-old, who scored in the Hornets' 3-0 Carabao Cup win against Coventry last Tuesday, has today been confirmed as a Eupen player and will spend the current campaign in the Belgian top flight.
Following the move, KAS director general Christoph Henkel told the club website they had signed an "experienced" player.
"With Adalberto Peñaranda, we have been able to sign a 22 year-old with experience in top European leagues in Italy and Spain. "Having had little playing time at Watford last year, he wants to get a kick-start at KAS Eupen. We'll keep our fingers crossed for a good Pro League season and welcome Adalberto Peñaranda to KAS Eupen."
