Middlesbrough winger Marcus Tavernier is attracting interest from Watford, it has been claimed.

The Mail have reported the Hornets are plotting a move for the youngster, who played for England Under-20s in their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Japan in the Toulon Tournament yesterday, but found it difficult to establish himself as a first-team regular under former Boro boss Tony Pulis this season.

Tavernier made a total of 27 appearances in all competitions in the 2018/19 campaign, scoring four goals.

The winger has been linked following more reports in the Italian media that Gerard Deulofeu is wanted by Napoli, amid ongoing claims also linking him with AC Milan.
