Watford reached the FA Cup final for only the second time in the club's history after a sensational comeback against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Javi Gracia's men trailed 2-0 with around ten minutes remaining before heroics from substitute Gerard Deulofeu and captain Troy Deeney sent the game into extra time.
Another moment of magic from Deulofeu ensured Watford's passage to the final and here is how we rated their individual performances on an afternoon full of twists and turns:
Heurelho Gomes: 7
After the game Ben Foster said he would refuse to play in the final if Javi Gracia asked him to and said that Gomes has never let the Hornets down.
Although the Brazilian was beaten twice during the game, he produced some vital stops at times and looked safe and asured in goal.
Kiko Femenia: 6
The Spanish full-back never stopped running up the right-hand-side and he didn't give up, even at 2-0.
His desire to get forward and put the ball into the box was clear to see and he constantly made himself available in attack as Watford piled on the pressure late on.
It was a difficult afternoon for Mariappa, who maybe could have done a little more to deal with Jimenez for Wolves' second goal.
He was steady enough when he needed to be and made an important clearance after Gomes had been rounded late on by Ivan Cavaleiro.
Craig Cathcart: 6
Alongside Mariappa, Cathcart was solid and dependable when he needed to be.
He was tested regularly by the Wolves forwards, but didn't let much get through to test Gomes.
Jose Holebas: 7
The Greek full-back was in top form once again and used his pace to good effect both in attack and defence.
His throw in caused a melee in the box that led to Deulofeu's first goal and his work ethic was never in any doubt.
Will Hughes: 5
It was a quiet afternoon for Hughes who struggled to make his mark when he was on the pitch.
He was rightly taken off and his replacement produced the quality that had been lacking from Watford's game until then.
Abdoulaye Doucoure: 5
Watford really struggled in midfield for most of the match and Doucoure was nowhere near his best.
He lost Matt Doherty for Wolves' first goal and so much of what is good about the Frenchman was absent from his performance.
He did cross the ball from which Deeney won a stoppage time penalty to level the game, but that was his most notable contribution.
Etienne Capoue: 6
Another who didn't have a great day in midfield was Capoue, who also found life difficult.
Although he was marginally better than Doucoure, he will still need to improve if the Hornets have any chance of beating Manchester City in the final.
Roberto Pereyra: 6
In a shift from his usual role out wide, Pereyra spent most of the game in the centre of the park.
While in the early stages he looked lively and even drew an early booking from Roman Saiss, his influence waned as the game went on and he never really created anything to get too excited about.
Andre Gray: 7
Despite missing two golden chances to score during the 90 minutes, Gray still performed admirably and his never-say-die attitude was a huge help for Watford.
Even at the end of extra time, he did not stop sprinting in behind the Wolves defenders and his composure to hold the ball up before rolling it into the feet of Deulofeu for the winning goal was wonderful to see.
Troy Deeney: 7
Another good captain's performance from Deeney saw him remain calm to emphatically dispatch a penalty in the dying moments of the game.
He would have had two assists to his name had Gray's finishing been better, but he will forever be remembered as only the second Watford skipper to lead his side to the FA Cup final.

Gerard Deulofeu - 9
After the game Deulofeu admitted he was angry to have been left on the bench and he played like a man with a point to prove.
His first goal was a moment of utter genius, while the pace and guile he showed to score the second was equally as inspired.
Simply put, Watford would not have won the game without him.
