Nathaniel Chalobah was sent off as Watford U23s were beaten 1-0 by Millwall on Friday afternoon.

The England international was given a straight red for a two-footed lunge in the first half of the game before the Hornets went on to lose in the second.

Also playing in the match were Sebastian Prodl, who completed his first 90 minutes since October, and goalkeeper Pontus Dahlberg.

Meanwhile, Hornets first team head coach Javi Gracia was full of praise for the club's youth squad, after they reached the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday evening with a 2-1 win over Leceister after extra time, courtesy of two goals from starlet Ryan Cassidy.

Gracia said: "It’s very good for them, it’s very good for all the club. We are very proud of them and very happy for them and now after winning against Leicester, we will try to do the same."
