The Watford Palace Theatre box office phone lines and website are set be stretched once again from midday today as tickets are put on sale for the latest Tales from the Vicarage Live event - featuring another great cast of former Watford players.

The show will aim to brighten up the forthcoming international break by bringing back Nigel Callaghan, Andy Hessenthaler, Micah Hyde and John Eustace for the latest night of Watford FC nostalgia and laughter at the famous theatre in the heart of the town.

The quartet - with almost 1,000 appearances between them and more than 100 goals - that enjoyed careers spanning almost 35 years at Vicarage Road will join Sky Sports presenter and lifelong Hornet Adam Leventhal on stage to look back at the highs, lows, promotions, relegations, controversies and celebrations on what has become an unmissable night for Watford fans.

“I’m really excited to get these four together for our latest event because they saw a whole range of eras at the Vic,” said Leventhal.

“Both Cally and Micah had their own experiences of playing under Graham Taylor in his two spells at the club, while Andy and John - who both captained their sides - didn’t experience promotions but definitely enjoyed some memorable moments during their times - good and bad.”

The Sky Sports presenter continued: “Although still painful, I’m really looking forward to speaking to John about the infamous ghost goal, which to this day still, I’m m sure, baffles everyone.

“Although VAR isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, if only we’d had it back then and that ghost wouldn’t be haunting us still to this day.”

Tickets for the event - which invariably sells out fast - go on sale at midday via here or by calling the box office on 01923 225671 .
