Serbian teenager Filip Stuparevic has completed a move to Watford, according to his club FK Vozdovac, but Hornets fans will have to wait until at least next season to see their new player.

The Serbian club's website says the 18-year-old striker has signed a four-year contract with Watford, but will remain on loan with Vozdovac until the end of the current campaign.

In September last year, the Watford Observer reported that the Hornets had agreed a deal with Vozdovac in the region of £2million.

Stuparevic was the youngest ever player in the Serbian SuperLiga when he made his debut, at the age of 15 and has continued to impress since.

Valencia and Juventus were also reportedly interested in the young striker, who scored six goals and got five assists in a total of 57 performances for Vozdovac.

Stuparevic told Vozdovac’s website:"Everything happened very quickly, but I'm happy. I still remember the debut in Vozdovac as the youngest player and goals against the biggest rivals, staying at the club was a truly invaluable experience.

"I would like to express my gratitude to my family for support, as well as to the Football Club Vozdovac, which itself functions as one family."
