Everton defender Kurt Zouma says the Blues will be looking bounce back from their 1-1 draw against Newcastle United on Wednesday.

The Blues followed up their dramatic 1-0 Merseyside derby defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, by wasting a number of chances to beat the Magpies.

For Zouma, the draw represented two points dropped and he says Everton will look to put the mistakes made against Newcastle right against the Hornets.

“Everybody is disappointed with the result. Unfortunately we didn’t score the second goal,” Zouma said.

“We conceded a goal with the only chance they had in the first half, then they stayed compact, tried to defend and keep the points.

“I think we were a bit unlucky, especially in the first half. We could have scored more goals, but we scored one and came back in the game.

“That is the most important thing, but we need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.”
