A FEMALE police officer was allegedly punched and two teenagers taken to hospital after a row at a court this morning.

A group of youths, described as black, wearing hooded tops and beanie hats, chased two teenagers, thought to be 15 years old, through Highgate Magistrates Court after a row outside at around 11.45am, police say.

Details of what followed are sparse but one of the duo was taken to St Mary’s Hospital, in Paddington with head injuries, while the other was rushed to Whittington Hospital with injuries to his torso.

The Met said a female PC was “treated at the scene having been punched following the incident” but has returned to duty.

Two teenagers, said to be the same two taken to hospital, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Police are still hunting the group, all said to be around 15 years old, who are believed to have run off in the direction of Archway Road.
