SUSPECTED petrol bombs were thrown at a police van in Edmonton last night just weeks after riots spread fear and anger through the community.
Officers were on a routine patrol in Fore Street at around 11.30pm when they came under attack but no damage was caused and no one was injured.
Police said “what appeared to be petrol bombs” landed near the vehicle.
So far no arrests have been made but the investigation is continuing.
