Our recent referendum for a powerful Mayor in Harrow was, in my opinion, just an expensive PR exercise by our government to convince us of Mr Blair's democratic image of a partnership of government and people.
But where was the assent given for his government to give huge powers of arrest, deportation to a European Public Prosecutor, plus a European police force which will be exempt from prosecution under British law which our police must conform to for acceptable conduct?
Our government has signed the Nice Treaty which also undermines the protection of our institutions and the people's rights under our laws.
It is clear that Mr Blair only believes in partnerships on his terms.
