A MAN was found dead in Harrow Weald on Wednesday last week, just four days after being assaulted in a pub.
Shane Lewison, 26, of South Oxhey, Hertfordshire was found at a house in Hampden Road.
He had previously been the victim of an assault in The Junction pub in Gayton Road, Harrow on the Hill at 1pm on January 19, when a man entered the pub and assaulted him.
The suspect was then seen being driven off in a green car.
A post mortem at Northwick Park Hospital did not establish the cause of death and police are awaiting the results of toxicology tests. Information to 8733 3432.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assault and bailed to return to a police station in March.
