A NEW bus route has been proposed running from Stanmore to Brent Cross.
The idea of a 324 bus route has been floated by Transport for London (TfL), starting at Stanmore and passing through Queensbury, Kinsgbury, Colindale and Hendon Central on route to Brent Cross.
The route, if introduced, will take passengers close to Stanmore College and Kinsbury Community Hospital, and will link the Northern and Jubilee Lines on the Tube.
It will also be the first bus service for residents in Colindeep Lane, Old Church Lane, Abercorn Road, St Andrews Drive and Culver Grove.
TfL is due to start consulting on the possibility of introducing the new bus route, which will run every 20 minutes during the day and every half hour on evenings and Sundays.
More detailed information a map of the new route is available by visiting www.tfl.gov.uk/busrouteconsultation, and leaflets will be distributed to local residents asking them for their thoughts.
The consultation will run from 5 May until 12 June.
