POLICE are hunting for a drug-seeking gang of teenagers who beat-up and knifed a paramedic in Pinner.
The 41-year-old team leader was smashed over the head with a fire extinguisher on Saturday, March 14, and slashed across the stomach by four men who were stealing drugs from his ambulance.
Harrow Police have today appealed for information on the attack, which happened at around 1.30am at the Pinner Ambulance Station.
They are hunting for four men aged 18 or 19 who were all wearing hoodies, and ran away from the station, in Imperial Drive, after attacking the paramedic.
Detective Constable Jim Hastings from Harrow Police, condemned the attack on the paramedic, who was on his own at the time of the assault, and appealed for witnesses to come forward.
The medic was left with heavy bruising to his face and cuts and bruises on his body.
It is thought the gang of teens were trying to steal drugs as open packets were found in the garage after the attack. A blood stained knife used to stab the man was also found near the station.
Anyone with information can contact DC Hastings on 0300 123 1212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
