A 15-year-old boy is in hospital after an alleged stabbing in a McDonald’s in Edgware.
Police were told there was a man with a knife in the store on Stonegrove around 4.30pm yesterday (September 22).
Paramedics arrived with officers and treated the teenager for a small cut on his knee.
There have been no arrests but police are appealing to the public for more information.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers responded to reports of a man with a knife at a fast food restaurant in Stonegrove, Barnet at 16:38hrs on Monday, 22 September.
“A 15-year-old boy received treatment for a minor cut at the scene from the London Ambulance Service.
“No arrests have been made at this stage. If you have any information relating to the incident, please contact the Met via 101, quoting 5155/22SEP.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.42pm yesterday (22 September) to reports of a stabbing in Stonegrove, Edgware.
“We sent an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars and a member of our tactical response unit to the scene.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to hospital.”
