A man has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing.
Police have named 49-year-old Bodhan Vandzhura, from Harrow, as the victim of the attack in Pinner Road, North Harrow on Saturday (July 8).
Emergency services were called at 6.25am. Despite their best efforts, Mr Vandzhura died at the scene.
A post-mortem examination on Sunday confirmed he died from "multiple stab wounds to the chest and neck".
His family has been informed.
Harrow West MP Gareth Thomas said on Twitter: "Awful news this morning of a man having lost his life in North Harrow as a result of a stabbing. Thinking of him and his family and the terrible sense of loss they will feel."
Abdul Khan, of Durham Road, Harrow, was arrested on Saturday (July 8).
The 25-year-old was charged the following day with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
He will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates' Court today (July 10).
Pinner Road was closed both ways from Westmorland Road to Station Road while a cordon was in place.
Buses including the 183, H18 and H19 routes were diverted from the area.
Officers have urged anyone with information to call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD1721/8July.
