The Salvation Army in Watford has received a donation of gifts worth around £2,000.

The collection was organised by Craig O’Toole, who is founder of fitness company ManAlive, based in Watford and Radlett.

The Salvation Army supports families that find themselves in hardship over the festive period, providing new unwrapped gifts as well as a warm and welcoming place to come and feel at home.

ManAlive has seen generous donations pour in from its 250 plus-strong community of members and colleagues community they have built around their fitness business.

Mr O’Toole said: “I am so impressed with the way our members have pulled together this Christmas to help support our local community. With the current climate as it is it is even more important now than ever before to extend a hand to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

“We were extremely proud to be able to take such a large donation to The Salvation Army and hope that it makes a difference.”
