FORMER Albion goalkeeper David Stockdale will join Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer.
The 36-year-old played 136 times for Albion between 2014 and 2017 and was named in the Championship team of the year during the club's promotion season to the Premier League.
However, Stockdale left the club after refusing a new deal at Albion, instead moving to Championship side Birmingham City.
Most recently the goalkeeper has been playing for Wycombe in League One, but suffered dissapointment at the end of the season as they lost the play-off final to Sunderland.
Stockdale now will join the Owls once he becomes a free agent on July 1.
Reacting to the announcement by the club on Twitter, Stockdale said: "Can't wait to get started."
