Transforming the 1600 m2 site from a petrol station was no mean feat but something that Attic achieved in accordance with BREEAM Excellent certification. Despite the original state of the site, 91% of all demolished material was diverted from landfill and either retained, reused in construction or recycled. For example, 800 tonnes of materials were crushed and re-used as pile mat for the new building. The environmental focus is also something that Attic has continued to pursue with the installation of solar panels on the roof. This generates sufficient power to make the site operationally carbon neutral. The site also boasts a fast charger for electric vehicles, supporting customers who choose a greener approach.
