London has been named the worst place to learn how to drive in the whole of the UK.

With the capital taking 17 spots on the list of 50, it takes the title of the hardest place to learn and pass with nearly all London locations currently having no tests available.

The lack of tests comes following the strain placed on driving instructions to battle the backlog of tests creat by the Covid 19 pandemic.

The list comes from CarMats who have looked into each area of the UK's waiting time for booking a test.

However, the lack of tests across London doesn't come as a huge surprise to many due to the area's high population making tests an in-demand service.

Since the start of the pandemic, the DVSA has recorded that the number of driving tests taken across the UK has drooped by 70%.
