The story of a girl, three ugly sisters, a handsome prince, a fairy godmother and some confused mice will be told at Harrow Arts Centre as pantomime returns to the venue this Christmas.

After a year off due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the centre says this year's production of Cinderella promises to be its biggest, most spectacular yet.

The entire family is invited to the ultimate ball as Harrow Arts Centre presents what it describes as the most magical pantomime of all. Audiences will be able cheer, boo, hiss, laugh, and sing along to some of their favourite songs.

With heaps of audience participation, spectacular costumes, dazzling sets and enchanting special effects, the venue says Cinderella is guaranteed to be an unforgettable, side-splitting experience whether you’re 4 or 104.

Harrow Arts Centre and Immersion Theatre say they can’t wait to welcome audiences to the fairy godmother of all pantomimes!

Immersion Theatre have been family favourites at Harrow Arts Centre now for many years. They were the team behind previous pantomimes at HAC including Aladdin (2019), Beauty and the Beast (2018), The Wizard of Oz (2017) and many other family shows.

The show also stars local children aged between nine and 17 from the Bearfoot School of Performing Arts, based at Harrow Arts Centre.

They will be dancing a number of choreographed routines as part of the ensemble.

Rachel Johns, principal at Bearfoot Performing Arts school, said: "We are delighted that our students have this opportunity to dance in a professional pantomime performance. We can’t wait to watch them on-stage!"

Kerry Blackburn, cultural development manager at Harrow Arts Centre, said: “We're delighted to welcome our community this Christmas to enjoy Cinderella. We have a series of measures in place to safeguard our audiences and we're looking forward to presenting a stunning and dazzling pantomime at Harrow Arts Centre.”

The two-hour show runs from December 11 to 28 Dec at various times in the Elliott Hall.

Tickets cost £18 / £15 concessions or £60 family/group ticket and can be booked by visiting www.harrowarts.com, where you can watch behind the scenes and play a Panto Game: Pumpkin Dash!
