Three streets in the Harrow area are set to be temporarily closed for roadworks, starting this weekend.
Notices from Harrow Council in this week’s edition of the Harrow Times outline the extent of the closures and other restrictions that may be required while the works take place.
College Road is due to be shut on Sunday between its junctions with Pinner Road and Headstone Road for crane works.
The diversion route for westbound traffic will be via Headstone Road, Greenhill Way and Pinner Road.
Eastbound motorists should use Lowlands Road, Grove Hill Road, Station Road and College Road.
Green Lane is due to be closed between its junction with Stanmore Hill and a point opposite the southern boundary wall of No. 101 for Green Lane for utility works.
The work is due to start on December 13 and should be completed by December 17.
The alternative route will be via Stanmore Hill, Church Road and vice versa.
Whistler Gardens, between Nos. 8 and 26, is also set to be closed to vehicles from December 13 to December 17 for utility works.
The diversion will be via Cotman Gardens and Gainsborough Gardens and vie versa.
