Motorists using roads in Harrow may face disruption while restrictions are imposed to allow utility works to be carried out.

Notices from Harrow Council in this week’s edition of the Harrow Times outline the temporary waiting and loading restrictions which will be introduced in Havelock Place, Vancouver Road, Halsbury Close and Kenton Lane starting from next week.

The order for Havelock Place will be operational from 8am on Monday until June 23, but it is anticipated the work will be completed by April 23.

During this time vehicles will be prevented from waiting or loading, when signs are in place, on the east side of the road between a point 10.65 metres south of the extended southern kerbside of St Anns Road and a point 10.21m south of that point.

All three dates will also apply to an order for Vancouver Road, preventing waiting or loading on both sides of the road.

This will apply to the north-east side:

Between a point 7.72m north-west of the extended north-western kerb-line of Oakleigh Avenue and a point 17.96m north-west of that point.

Between a point 3.9m north-west of a point opposite the south-eastern boundary of No. 6 Vancouver Road and a point 6m north-west of that point.

And the south-west side:

Between a point 7.72m north-west of the extended north-western kerb-line of Oakleigh Avenue and a point 12.32m north-west of that point.

Between a point opposite the south-eastern boundary of No. 5 Vancouver Road and a point opposite the north-western boundary of No. 7.

The restrictions in Halsbury Close are due to take effect on April 29 but will last for longer. The order will remain until March 29, with the work expected to be completed by January 29.

During this time there will be no waiting or loading, when signs are in place, between a point 35.8m south of the extended southern kerb line and a point 27.6m south of that point.

The order in Kenton Lane is due to take effect from 8am on May 4 and last until July 6, although this work is expected to be completed by May 6.

This will affect a small section of Kenton Lane between a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 84 and 86B and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 86B and 86A.
